Thoroughbreds and Horse Racing
What does it take for a horse to win a race? Training? Yes! Physique? Certainly! A top-notch jockey? Can’t do it without him. But if you take any horse on a race track they ALL have ALL of the above. What wins races then? What makes the difference?
My answer to this – spirit and mental training! A horse has prey mentality which is impossible to overcome, you can’t make a predator out of prey. But unlike predator’s, this mentality can and should be manipulated by both the power of love and stern force. It’s how you manipulate this mentality of a thoroughbred that makes a difference to the way a horse copes with the stress and performs on a track. If you are able to channel all the horse’s mental and physical resources into the right direction, you’ll have it. You’ll be riding the bullet then.
So what is yours going to be – a racing horse or a rocking horse? A winner of an object of constant pins and jokes? It’s all about you and your companion now. Both of you have it in you all that it takes to be the winner!
